Monday Night Event

Most of us don’t spend time thinking about the future of our profession. Fortunately, RWIEF does. As a non-profit foundation, we support IRWA in funding education programing.

At each annual conference, the Monday Night Event is our primary fundraiser. This event provides the opportunity to network in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Food, live music and auctions are held in venues reflecting the flavor and tradition of the host city. Profits from the event are used for education programs spanning technical knowledge to interpersonal relations to leadership training and more.

So, where does Foundation funding come from? YOU! IRWA members, along with leading industry corporations generously donate money along with their time, energy and passion to raise funds. Thank you for helping RWIEF raise the level of expertise in our industry!

Golf Tournament 2023

Golf Tournament

The annual golf tournament is hosted by the RWIEF and held on Tuesday of conference week.  This event provides 144 conference attendees and golf enthusiasts a fun day outdoors for networking and raising education funds.  Rain or shine, hot or cold, this event always sells out and golfers of all skill levels enjoy their rounds, along with a long drive contest and closest to the pin contest.  After play ends, everyone gathers for lunch, awards and a raffle of the latest golf equipment.  Leading ROW industry corporations, IRWA Chapters, Regions and individual members provide sponsorships.  Profits generated from the event are used to further right of way education programing.

Ride for the Foundation
FUNdraiser

Steve Grandon has taken on a personal challenge to raise funds for RWIEF by combining two things he really enjoys – the IRWA and motorcycles.  Each year Steve rides his Harley from the current conference site to next year’s conference site.  With the Hog’s odometer, Steve created a contest where participants purchase a ticket and guess the mileage from site to site.  The participant guessing the mileage closest to the actual odometer reading wins a cash prize. Steve’s sponsor is Liberty Core consultants and the cash prize up for grabs is $1,000!

Awards

RWIEF proudly manages and/or funds the awards and scholarships described below. Awards and scholarship programs managed by the IRWA may be found on their website at www.irwaonline.org.
